Transforming Spaces with Creativity
Krishna Padiya
Myself Krishna Padiya belong to small town of Saurashtra region from Gujarat. Completed schooling from there and migrated to Vadodara for further study in Fine Arts in which I was interest from my childhood. I love to play with clay. When I started studying in Fine Arts it become more interested and I explored other mediums as well. And finely Metal Casting has become passion of mine. At present I am working in metal with stone, wood, ceramics and fiber glass together.\r\nI am working in this field for Thirty years. After specializing in metal casting I have been constantly experimenting with vivid methods for improvising it. I believe that the inability to implement these creative ideas puts energetic artistes under pressure and mental depression, which could waver the artistes from this beautiful field. So artist should carry on his/her idea continuously.\r\nIf I talk about my work, I am working on found natural objects, the concept is mythological while the treatments are pretty different. I am using contemporary method technically. The essence of subject develops with new thought and I am trying to merge my new ideas with mythologies. My subject matter emergence the world, human being and its expansion. It is about the desire, aspiration, development, feelings, thoughts, behavior, Karma and attitude of the human beings for each other. It is interesting that these all are going nicely with some mythologies.
