Transforming Spaces with Creativity
Sunita Lamba
Sunita Lamba\'s art is defined by the warmth of human relationships, as well as a sublime sense of identification with nature and love. She discovers and creates the world that each eye imagines in her sculptures. Sunita finds the moments that make life possible in this world full of contradictions. From this contradictory world, she chooses such sublime stories and presents them to us in the form of crafts that we want to hear again and again.\r\nAn artist rejects all forms of bondage, whether of the subject or of the form. As a result, Sunita establishes the form in Arup (abstract) as well. Instead of resemblance, she seeks a form that is both familiar and strange. That is why, in many of her works, the human form establishes the identity we seek. Even when approaching abstraction, she prioritises the known over the unknown. Abstraction reveals the identity we seek while negating the identity already established in them.\r\nMany of her sculptures feature the spirit of coexistence. This coexistence includes not only humans, but also humans and nature, animals, and birds. Human relationships are more important to her. Two or three human figures are frequently seen assisting one another. He has also created numerous sculptures depicting the bond between mother and child. Life is a journey that cannot be completed alone. As a result, she adopts the turtle as a symbol. She has also created the destructive role of man in urban structures. As a result, skulls are visible in some sculptures. Destruction is a part of life, but creation is more powerful. That is why she creates sculptures with music, and Buddha has also found a place in her work.\r\nShe selects spontaneous life activities and imbues them with life in inanimate sculptures. Her favourite mediums are bronze and fibre, but she has also made steel crafts here. Her use of different mediums adds a new dimension to her work.\r\n
